When you find a restaurant with a fusion of Mexican, Malaysian, Western, and Filipino cuisines, you know you’re in for a wide variety of choices. We were so fortunate to be the first few to eat on their soft opening.
This place used to be Rueben’s Bistro and they upgraded it to be more diverse and became Comamos @Rueben’s to cater to a wider variety of customers. As we all know, Subang Business Centre has several restaurants in the area, Comamos @ Ruebens offers a variety of range you’ll not find in most of the restaurants here.
A must try Tortilla Chips with their homemade salsa and guacamole. Seriously, I can eat this all day as long as their special guacamole is there.
Who doesn’t like Nachos? They offer Nachos with Vegetarian, Shredded Chicken, Seasoned Minced Beef (Spicy) and Combo. This means all Nacho lovers out there will have plenty of variety to choose from. Easily this was one of my favorites during this visit. It’s because this is very much familiar to me. A good companion with your glass of beer while watching your favorite sports event. Yes, you can watch sports shows here at Comamos @ Ruebens. It’s because since they used to be a bistro, they still have what they offer with their customers before. They are usually packed when there are important sporting events showing live. Now with their new offerings, you’ll enjoy watching live shows while your variety of food to choose from just got added with more special dishes you’ll definitely love.
The quesadillas, on the other hand, look colorful than anything else that I saw that day. Pleasing to the eye and definitely Instagram-able. So make sure to order this when you can. This is highly recommended.
The Enchiladas can be ordered in Cheese, Chicken, Beef, and Pork.
It’s corn tortilla rolled around a filling covered with chili pepper sauce. At first, I was confused about the fact that it has rice with it. I would say they purposely made it this way to give it a bit of Malaysian twist in it.
When you hear Tapsilog, you’ll pretty much know it is Filipino cuisine. I found out that that the difference with this one from any other Tapsilog you’ll find in Malaysia, is the chef’s homemade vinegar sauce.
To be honest, it’s a game changer, not to mention the very tender meat. This is Tapsilog with perfection.
They also have a bar which means booze are also available. This is definitely something you should try to check out. They just reinvented themselves by combining the two concepts into Comamos @ Ruebens.
If you are in Subang Jaya or even if you are far but looking for something different where you can hang out, watch your favorite sports live or even just catch up with your friends on a Friday night, make sure to give them a visit. You will surely not regret it.
